Fedora 8 is out! I am installing now. Fun, fun! Update: Installed F8 on my two notebooks. Worked great on my "Centrino" notebook, everything worked out of the box. Needed to add livna to my older P3 and install the madwifi package in order to get my wifi working. Strangely, compiz works on my P3 notebook with F8 (it did not work with Ubuntu 7.10). Updating the P3 right now, but things are really slow. My guess is that mirrors are overloaded with people trying to download Fedora 8.
