november 2, 2013I wanted to have custom fonts on my Kindle Paperwhite and found that it is pretty easy:
- Connect Kindle to computer via USB.
- Create a file named "USE_ALT_FONTS" in the root directory of the Kindle drive.
- Create a new folder named "fonts" in the root directory of the Kindle drive.
- Copy OTF or TTF font files into the "fonts" directory.
- Reboot Kindle via the settings menu.
The only limit is that there can only be two custom fonts at a time.
Update: I went through a bunch of fonts and the best one for me is Rokkitt.
