Treadmill Fixing

I ordered my current curved manual treadmill (Sunny Health SF-X7110) from Amazon a few months ago. In their rush to finish building and installing the treadmill the Amazon installers had cut the wire from the treadmill’s platform to the display. They did this accidentally when they bolted the threaded the wire from the platform through the arm and then bolted the arm to the platform. When they bolted the arm, the wire got stuck behind one of the bolts and got crunched there, cutting it.
I only discovered that the display wasn’t working after the had left. I eventually got a sizeable partial refund from Amazon so that I have someone fix the treadmill. But, since the treadmill is a manual treadmill, I didn’t really need the display because there was no need for the display to control the treadmill. For speed and distance, I was using my sports watch to track that. So, for the short time I was actually using the treadmill, I wasn’t too bummed about it. Then I had my rotator cuff surgery and wasn’t using the treadmill at all.
I’m still recovering from my surgery, so no running yet. But, I can walk and that is what I was doing this morning. While walking I remembered the cut wire and figured I could probably just splice the wire back together myself.
I did and the display works great. Win.
