I took ultramookie down for a few minutes (second time tonight) to replace the heatsink and fan on the CPU. Now it runs really quiet -- I had an old heatsink and fan from a burnt out AMD Sempron 2400+ kit that is really quiet compared to the "lawnmower" (as my wife described it) heatsink and fan that came from the Chinese factory. Now the system is really quiet. Though, the CPU temperature at idle went from 29 degrees Celsius to around 33 degrees Celcius. It's OK though, it's only 4 degrees (and this was just after a boot).
