I have a serious nitpick about the UMD media (the stuff that PSPs use). Why couldn't Sony add a metal shutter to the disc casing much like on Minidiscs? I mean, to encase an optical disc inside of a plastic shell and then leave a huge gaping hole on the back is not the smartest idea. If only Sony could have added a sliding shutter to the casing to make it a truly "encased" disc, that would have made it a lot better. As it stands, it might have just been better (and cheaper) if Sony just made UMD discs without the plastic casing. That was a crazy oversight by the design team of the UMD media.
