Here and here are some interesting spin on the whole Apple/Intel rumor: Apple is licensing the PowerPC chip to Intel (apparently, Apple owns most of the PowerPC intellectual property). Intel, with its processor making prowness will be able to better produce more PowerPC (G4/G5) chips for Apple. Now that is a very interesting theory. With IBM getting the lions share of the gaming console market (they are making the chips for Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft's next generation consoles), is Apple worried that they will get the short end of the processor making deal with IBM?
