JR has a good write up about life at Google. Apparently, life at Google isn't that much more different than it is at Yahoo!. They have the parking problems, the office shortage problems, the long lines at the cafe problems, and other related issues that come with a growing company. What caught my eye was:
What concerned me was that Google absolutely was like Yahoo! was back in the early 00’s, right before the stock crashed. They’re on a very strong hiring spree with no apparent corporate focus other than “Let’s do cool stuff and make money”. Their stock price is highly volitile and while they may not care about it, investors and credit groups do. That’s a concern.That's kind of scary.
