It took them long enough to get the demo out the door. Get the demo of the Mac version of Halo here. On my PowerBook G4, it looks great with medium settings. I bet it'll need a damn fast G5 to play any of the higher modes. Even so, the game looks really sharp on the PB compared with on the TV. I definitely won't get the Mac version -- why when I have the Xbox version -- but I'll keep the demo around since it is the demo of my favorite Halo level: Silent Cartographer. Heh. Nice. Give it a shot if you have a powerful system.
