A refurbished Dish DVR arrived much earlier than I thought it would. UPS was nice enough to leave the $300 DVR box sitting on our porch without having a signature (sigh). I hooked up the DVR and called Dish to get it activated after dinner. Total replacement time was about half an hour or so (including redoing the Favorite Channels setup for my wife and I). The customer service rep tonight was friendly and helpful. Now if only someone would tell me what happened on the episode of Battlestar Galactica this last Friday.
