Here's a non-scientific survey...It's not that big of a surprise which distro of Linux was the most popular.

  1. Ubuntu (29.2%)
  2. Debian (12.2%)
  3. openSUSE (10.1%)
  4. Gentoo (9.6%)
  5. Fedora (7%)
This survey definitely does not represent what is actually deployed.
