october 4, 2006This is a follow-up vent to my Being Wrong vent. Again, imagine me shaking my fist...
The same people who can never admit they have made a mistake are the ones that don't learn so well to begin with. My miff is with people who are learning something and when asked if they "get it" usually reply with:
- Yup
- Got it
- Right
- Yes
- I know
Of course, the above answers would not be so bad if:
- They didn't have a confused look on their face
- They come back in twenty minutes to ask the same question
- They can't do what they said they learned when the time comes
The "I know" one really bugs me a lot. What kind of pretentious ass would reply like that when the don't get it? On a good day, it would get a "then why the f*ck did you ask me?" response. On a bad day, well, lets not go there. Anyways, enough venting. Thanks for listening.
